2 photos from graduation

We all know Mom would never pick her nose, not even in private, but this picture provides persuasive evidence that she is a picker. But who among us hasn't had occasion to clean house? When Moses was in the desert for 40 years, you bet he was picking, what with all that dry hot air. There is no shame in a pick. If we pick, do we not bleed? I am not an animal.
This was one of the few moments when Matt wasn't making my daughters cry. My favorite was when Matt had both girls crying simultaneously. The little delicate flowers need more teasing in their daily routines.

  1. I resent the accusation that I made your girls cry. They chose to cry after I was extremely loud or made a effort to tease them. Plus I believe that it is the uncles' responsibility to give their nieces and nephews some harmless banter and wedgies. I will steer clear of the atomic wedgies, which is when the diaper would make it all the way over the head.

  2. No doubt about it, you were just fulfilling your duties as an uncle. I appreciate your ongoing efforts to taunt and harass my children. One of my fondest childhood memories was Jim pinning me on the ground, holding my hands above my head, and tickling me until I named ten cereals. Naming cereals under that kind of pressure can be very difficult. I will start training Jane now to get her ready for the experience.
