These are pictures of some of the things we accomplished at the house this summer.
I am really enjoying the house and the yard. I didn't take any pictures of the garden, but we have had delicious squashes, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, onions, cucumbers and we are still hoping for cantalope and watermelon. I learned a lot about the soil and water here and will hopefully improve next year. Who would have thought the soil and water could be so much different only six miles south of West Jordan. Now, all we ask is to get our trees and plants to grow!!! Bradley asked for close-ups of the new firepit.
The kids started the day at Nicole and Garrett's house for their semi-annual cousin conference breakfast. They all bring something something to add to the meal and have such a great time!
The kids got tickets to see the Saturday afternoon conference session. They said it didn't seem
like fall yet. I guess it wouldn't...it was in the high 80's. Yeah!
I think Nicole and Garrett's "house" is a little too generous. :)

ReplyDeletelove all the landscaping and hardscaping! it looks gorgeous. the firepit is so fun. ours just cracked and fell apart on saturday.

ReplyDeleteIt is a flower! But it was store bought.. I had no choice. I wouldn't dare wear one of ours out in public...
